The Beach

MEDIA: Oil on canvas
SIZE: 153cm x 122cm / 60in x 48in
ARTIST'S NOTES:

This is a beach in South Africa. I am sure it will not look like this for long.

By now many people in many countries know about the plastic pollution in our seas. Some individuals are making real efforts to clean up the devastation it is causing to marine life of all kinds, including the coral on which so much sea life depends.
We are back to Entanglement again; one level of life depending on another for its existence, just like us.

There are also some really good organisations making efforts to clean up the poison we have dumped into the ocean, making far more effort than our governments are.

Part of the CLIMATE CHANGE series.
