Illusions of Reality

DATE: 2017
MEDIA: Graphite on canvas
SIZE: 130cm x 180cm / 51in x 71in
ARTIST'S NOTES:

There is no complete definition of reality.

We accept what we see as reality and believe we are conscious because we can see the outside world doing what we expect it to do. For us it works. It’s practical cause and effect.

But what keeps this stable and constant and what do our brains actually see?

Part of the SPACE series.
